Sunday in the Park with.....Fluffernutter
April 2, 2006
Sundays in early spring are not meant to be spent indoors - even if there's artwork and writing, not to mention vacuuming, to be done. So what if the weekend is shorn of a hour - the sun is shining and our thoughts turn to strolling.
Yes, this is New York. In fact it is the same part of Central Park where we showed you The Gates last year. New York is not all skyscrapers and graffiti.
Sometimes New York is gnarled oaks and daffodils and sleeping geese.
And fairytale boathouses visited by fluffy dogs and a young girl with shiny brown hair.
And people ice skating.
In halter tops.
Could there ever be a justification for skating in a halter?
I think not.
And the Duke would never approve.
